Each individually machined from 7075 aluminium and double hard coated for massively reduced wear they are about as good as a pinion can get.
They offer both lightweight and low wear rate due to the combination of material choice and coatings selected. Weighing between 0.9g and 2.1g with a average weight of around 1.65 grams they are amongst the lightest on the market. A little more weight could be shaved off of the larger ones by drilling but in testing we found that to leave the pinion face solid resulted in a better machined pinion, with less chance of any deformation which is what truly matters to any hardcore racer.
One small innovation worth mentioning is the use of a “spare” grub screw hole. Rather than just machine 1 hole into the pinion for the grub screw we have machined two, giving you a spare hole. Also included in each packet is 2 x grub screws.
